I followed the advice to order up a 1/2 size. That worked well since I am really an 8 3/4 so sometimes I go up and sometimes down. They are more narrow that the typical "N" width, but I am happy with that as N width usually slips in the heel on my feet. Oh, and it is a good looking shoe, too!
